An escape to solitute these days is becoming harder and harder for each generation. The dreams of the people before us, like John Muir and Teddy Rosevelt, are being forgotten by the people of the new, of instant gradification. To our generation a statement about an outing into nature is responded by a question asking "Why?", with most fearing that an escape will disconnect them from the world, if only for a moment. The shear impact that nature can truely have on a person is not realized by most, questioned by many and forgotten in our rapidly moving society.
